Forthcoming Events

We are are hosting a cake and coffee event on Friday, 29th September. The first get together will run from 8.15 to 9.15 am - you can grab a cake for your child/ren before school starts and send them in for registration (as normal) and then go back and relax in the hall with a cuppa. There will be a second sitting in the afternoon which will run from 2.45 - 3.30pm. If you wish to grab your child early, you can collect them from the office and take them to the hall so you can enjoy some time together whilst enjoying a drink and a cake.

All monetary donations will be split equally towards Macmillan Cancer Support and The Brain Tumour Charity - a charity both we and Mrs Mattox hold dear to our hearts.

Of course, this event needs your support and we are asking for cake donations whether they been shop bought (you can start sending these in asap please) or home-made (they just need a list of your ingredients) and these can be sent in the day before or first thing Friday morning please, so we can gauge how much we have to offer.

Welcome to the newly formed Parent Teacher Association at Rakegate Primary School!

With over 450 children in our school, we are a large parent community and collectively we can play a vital role in the life of our school.

Everyone can be involved and you all are welcome! Meetings take place straight after the morning school drop @9am so please join us if you can. Details of dates will be sent via Marvellous Me, Text, Facebook and Twitter (so make sure you are following us!).

Every penny the PTA raises, will be spent on improving your children's experiences at school!

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

All Parents and Carers are encouraged to support the school in whatever way they can but one of the best ways is by becoming an active member of the PTA committee.
