We hope that you will find our web site interesting and informative. We are a busy friendly school that likes to work closely with all our partners. These are exciting times for our school as we moved into our purpose built school last year! We have lots of photographs of the building work for you to view on our "building development" page, this has been updated all year. We will continue to keep you informed whenever we have more news.

These are indeed exciting times for the school, as we have moved into our new school, which is providing our children with a well-equipped, first-rate learning environment and resource, both for our students and the wider community.

I chair a committed and involved Governing Body, which is fully supportive of the Head Teacher and all of his staff, who are working hard towards further improving pupil attainment.

However, important as these things are, schools are not only about new buildings and league tables. Equally important is helping children to realise their full potential in a friendly, safe and supportive environment, qualities which we have in abundance at Rakegate Primary School. Indeed, I am constantly impressed by the enthusiasm, efforts and achievements of all of our students.
